Not a day goes by without some fact being released about Trump when someone in the media says “I don’t understand why Trump would say (or do) that. What is he thinking?”
Well I have a simple 2 step process for those folks and here it is:
Step 1. Form the news item as a simple statement of fact. Here are a few to get you started:
a. Trump wants to preserve Confederate Statues and glorify the history behind them.
b. Trump knew that Russia put a bounty on American soldiers, did nothing and now denies the facts entirely.
c. Trump calls peaceful protesters demanding social justice criminals and thugs.
d. Trump has begged China and Russia to help him get re-elected.
e. Trump opposes vote by mail or any reforms that make it easier for Americans to exercise their right to vote.
Step 2. Now, take any one of the Statements of fact from Step 1, and place these words in front:
“Because he is a racist, cowardly traitor, “ So now you have your answer, and the amazing thing is, this will work with whatever he does going forward as well. So my examples above become:
a. Because he is a racist, cowardly traitor, Trump wants to preserve Confederate Statues and glorify the history behind them.
b. Because he is a racist, cowardly traitor, Trump knew that Russia put a bounty on American soldiers, did nothing and now denies the facts entirely.
c. Because he is a racist, cowardly traitor, Trump calls peaceful protesters demanding social justice criminals and thugs.
d. Because he is a racist, cowardly traitor, Trump has begged China and Russia to help him get re-elected.
e. Because he is a racist, cowardly traitor, Trump opposes vote by mail or any reforms that make it easier for Americans to exercise their right to vote.
